In life we often show a masked version of ourselves to the world. To perform, fit in, get through the day. To feel safer, more covered, more removed from the raw elements of life. Until someone or something comes along and peels that mask back, and it pushes us on a path of self discovery. Allowing our masks to crumble, and connect with our inner self.
